Body Recall is a nationally acclaimed exercise
program designed to help participants reclaim the variety of movement and
strength that help make living more pleasurable. The program was developed
in 1978 at Berea College, Berea, Kentucky as part of the Continuing
Education Department.
It is a popular motivating, pain-free program of physical fitness for the adult of all ages and genders. Men and women find it pleasant, encouraging, and refreshing for the body and mind, as well as sensibly challenging.
Exercises are not new, but are simply natural motion performed thoughtfully and are specifically controlled to maximize potential range of motion, strength, coordination, balance and agility, all of which influence body maneuverability and freedom throughout the day.
Instructors are specially trained to insure
students reach their potential without risk, discomfort or injury. Wanda L. Williams is certified to teach Beginning, Intermediate and Special
Population classes. She began teaching Body Recall in 2001.
One hour classes are conducted three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for ten weeks. Call Wanda Williams at 513-422-0651, contact her by e-mail at wandalwilliams@cinci.rr.com for class schedule and enrollment information.
The deep roots of the symbolic tree are a faith
in God and a profound respect for His creation, the
human body. The body was designed to move and Body Recall is
a program of life-giving movement.
